
Do you know 10 things you should never do on a plane?
- Stay seated the entire time –ย it’s important to get up and stretch on those long flights.
- Guzzle fizzy drinks – reduce the feeling of being bloated by limiting soda.
- Overdo it on alcohol – on board pressure makes you react to the effects of alcohol faster, so take it easy.
- Drink tea or coffee – it’s made with airplane tap water so stick with canned or bottled drinks.
- Fall asleep when it’s morning at your destination – adjust to your new time zone a few days before your trip by staying up later or getting up earlier.
- Eat food that touched your tray – even if you sanitized it with wipes when you boarded (which I hope you did), I would still avoid eating something that lands on the tray.
- Try new sleep medicine – never try something new when you will be mid-flight for a while!
- Wear contact lenses – the air is already really dry on board, so contacts will irritate your eyes even more.
- Keep quiet if you are feeling ill – always let the flight attendants know if you are feeling uneasy because they are trained to help you.ย Don’t wait til it’s too late.
- Take your socks off – it may be tempting but it’s a NO.
