Disney World released their 2019 packages on June 19. We still have to wait until 499 days from the last day of your planned vacation to book your package, but if you want to visit before Halloween 2019, you are good to go!
Because 2019 is a such a great time to visit Disney, rooms will fill up fast. Avoid disappointment and don’t delay making plans. New Openings: Toy Story Land will be opening in a matter of days on June 30th! The Slinky Dog Dash Coaster and the Alien Swirling Saucers will be the main attractions. In Spring/Summer of 2019, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway will be rolling, replacing the Great Movie Ride in Hollywood Studios. And last but not least, STAR WARS Galaxy Edge will open in late Fall 2019! Here you’ll be able to explore the planet of Batuu, fly the Millennium Falcon, and feel like you are in the middle of an epic battle between the First Order and the Resistance!
Room Categories: Disney added some new room categories. The Wilderness Lodge now has a Nature Fireworks View. Port Orleans and Caribbean Beach resorts have a new 5th sleeper option. It’s not for families of 5, still just for families of 4, or if the 5th person is under 3 years old. The difference is that now you can get a guaranteed additional bed (trundle bed), instead of only putting in a request.
Tickets: The pricing rate didn’t increase, nor did the additional cost of adding the Hopper option to your ticket. Hot Diggity Dog!
Dining: Not much has changed here either, which is fantastic! The adult price didn’t change and the child price increased only slightly. Alcoholic drinks are remaining part of your meal if you would like to enjoy one!
