Members of Five Star Travel Group recently had the opportunity to tour the Comfort Suites Paradise Island. It’s 30 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes from downtown Nassau. It is located adjacent to the Atlantis Resort. All guests have complimentary access to the exclusive features of Atlantis (water parks, pools, and beach – towels included), with charging privileges in all restaurants and bars. When you compare the price of staying at Atlantis and the price of staying at the Comfort Suites, it’s a FABULOUS value!! And it’s just a short walk across a non-busy street.
The first thing we noticed was the beautiful contemporary lobby. (Where we took advantage of the resort’s free WiFi!) The hotel has been all refurbished and is just beautiful! When I used to think of “Comfort Suites” I thought of orange and yellow – no more! It may be under the brand of Comfort Suites so things like a FREE hot American breakfast are included, but Comfort Suites Paradise Island is a resort all of its own!
We were able to tour one of the 223 newly renovated junior suites and it was perfect – completely modern, comfortable, and clean! We went outside and saw them working on renovated pool area, set to open in a few weeks from our October visit.
They offer dinner and lunch as well in the building across from the pool. Children under 11 eat free with each paying adult! There is also a shopping center directly across the street, with a Dunkin Donuts, Quiznos, another restaurant, grocery store, and liquor store. Here’s the website for the shopping area:

We were all so impressed with the Comfort Suites! It’s a great option for those looking to enjoy the amenities of Atlantis without the cost! And not only that, but the Comfort Suites is a more quaint resort. So when you’ve had enough of the action over at Atlantis, you can come back to quiet coziness of the Comfort Suites.
